120 Bahadur (transl. 120 Bravehearts) is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language war film directed by Razneesh ‘Razy’ Ghai and produced by Excel Entertainment and Trigger Happy Studios. The film recounts the Battle of Rezang La fought on 18 November 1962 during the Sino-Indian War,[2] when 120 soldiers led by Major Shaitan Singh stationed in the Chushul sector defended their post against a 3000-strong Chinese Army contingent, who suffered over 1300 casualties.[3]
Marking his return to acting after three years, Farhan Akhtar portrays the role of Shaitan Singh, who was posthumously conferred the Param Vir Chakra for his bravery.[4][5][6][7]
Principal photography of the film commenced on September 4, 2024, in Ladakh with logistical support of Indian Army.[8][9] 120 Bahadur is scheduled to be released on 1 October 2025.[1]
