The 120th Division (第120師団, Dai-hyakunijū Shidan) was an infantry division of the Imperial Japanese Army. Its call sign was the Push Forward Division (邁進兵団, Maishin Heidan). It was formed 21 November 1944 in Dongning, Heilongjiang as a triangular division. The nucleus for the formation was the leftovers of 12th division . The division was initially assigned to the 3rd army.
