The 1938 Detroit Tech Dynamics football team represented the Detroit Institute of Technology as an independent during the 1938 college football season. In their third year under head coach Hal Shields,[1] the Dynamics compiled a 6–3 record and outscored opponents by a total of 321 to 64.[2] The team's schedule was considered the toughest in the school's history.[3]
