The 1971 Kentucky Wildcats football team represented the University of Kentucky as a member of the Southeastern Conference (SEC) during the 1971 NCAA University Division football season. Led by third-year head coach John Ray, the Wildcats compiled an overall record of 3–8, with a mark of 1–6 in conference play, and finished tied for eighth in the SEC.[1]
