The Queen's Birthday Honours 1981 were appointments in many of the Commonwealth realms of Queen Elizabeth II to various orders and honours to reward and highlight good works by citizens of those countries. The appointments were made to celebrate the official birthday of the Queen. They were published on 13 June 1981 for the United Kingdom,[1] Australia,[2] New Zealand,[3] Mauritius,[4] Fiji,[5] The Bahamas,[6] Papua New Guinea,[7] Solomon Islands,[8] Tuvalu,[9] and Saint Lucia.[10]
The recipients of honours are displayed here as they were styled before their new honour, and arranged by honour, with classes (Knight, Knight Grand Cross, etc.) and then divisions (Military, Civil, etc.) as appropriate.
