The 2001 Rose Bowl was a college football bowl game played on January 1, 2001. It was the 87th Rose Bowl Game, and matched the champions of the Big Ten and Pac-10 conferences.

The University of Washington Huskies defeated the Purdue University Boilermakers 34–24. Washington senior quarterback Marques Tuiasosopo was named the Player of the Game.[2][3][4][5]
