The tournament was classified as an ATP Tour 500 series on the 2023 ATP Tour (called the Hamburg Open) and as a WTA 250 tournament on the 2023 WTA Tour. The tournament took place at Am Rothenbaum in Hamburg, Germany between 23 and 30 July 2023.[1][2]
