The 2024 Seattle Mariners season was the 48th season in franchise history. The Mariners played their 25th full season (26th overall) at T-Mobile Park, their home ballpark in Seattle, Washington. The season opened on March 28 at home against the Boston Red Sox and ended on September 29 at home against the Oakland Athletics.[1]

On June 19, the Mariners held a ten game lead for the AL West. However, by July 24, they blew their lead in AL West, and began to fall out of a playoff position entirely. On August 22, the Mariners dismissed Scott Servais as manager following struggles by the team. The same day, the team appointed former catcher Dan Wilson as their new manager.[2] On September 26 and 27, the Mariners were eliminated from playoff contention for the second straight season following wins by the Royals and Tigers respectively.[3]
