The 2025 Tampa Bay Rays season will be the 28th season of the Tampa Bay Rays franchise and their 18th as the Rays. The Rays play their home games at George M. Steinbrenner Field, as a temporary home due to Hurricane Milton's damage to Tropicana Field. As members of Major League Baseball's American League East Division.
The 2025 season was slated to be the Rays’ 28th season playing at Tropicana Field; however, the stadium was heavily damaged during the passage of Hurricane Milton, rendering it unusable for the beginning of the season.[1] On November 14, 2024, the Rays announced they will play their 2025 home games at George M. Steinbrenner Field in Tampa, the spring training home of the New York Yankees.[2]
