The 38th Arkansas Infantry (1862–1865) was a Confederate Army infantry regiment during the American Civil War. The unit was often referred to as Shaver's Arkansas Infantry.[1] The unit served in the Department of the Trans-Mississippi from its formation in the summer of 1862 until its surrender in May 1865.
