Aayiram Jenmangal (transl. A Thousand Births) is a 1978 Indian Tamil-language horror film[1] directed by Durai. Latha, Vijayakumar, Rajinikanth and Padmapriya appear in the lead roles. It is a remake of the 1976 Malayalam film Yakshagaanam.[2] The film was released on 10 March 1978.[3] It was loosely remade in 2014 as the Tamil film Aranmanai.[4]
