Abdallah ibn Salam (Arabic: عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَلَامٍ, romanizedʿAbdullāh ibn Salām, lit.'[ ALLAH'S (God's) Servant ]'), born Al-Husayn ibn Salam, was a companion of the Islamic prophet Muhammad, and was a Jew who converted to Islam. He participated in the conquest of Syria, but died in Medina.
