Abdirahman Abdishakur Warsame (born 1968)[1] is a Somali politician and a constitutional expert. He is currently the leader of the Wadajir Party. He served as a member of the Somali Parliament from 2009 to 2010,[2] and as the Minister of Planning and International relations[3] under President Sheikh Sharif Sheikh Ahmed between 2009 and 2010.[4] He contested in the 2017 Somali presidential elections against Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo.[5] Warsame was one of the most prominent opposition politicians in Somalia, and a fierce critic of the Farmajo administration, in 2017–2022.
