Achyranthes arborescens (common names - Chaff tree, Soft-wood)[1] is a plant in the Amaranthaceae family endemic to Norfolk Island.[5] It is a critically endangered species under the Australian Federal government's Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act.[1]
