Adam (Arabic: أدم) an administrative region in Ad Dakhiliyah, in northeastern Oman.

Adam is a wilayah in the Interior Governorate of Oman. Prominent Omani figures, including Imam Ahmad bin Said, the founder of the Al Busaidi dynasty, originated from this region [1] Adam serves as a gateway to Dhofar Governorate[citation needed] and is surrounded by orchards irrigated by aflaj.[2] The population of Adam is estimated to be around 20,000 people.[citation needed]
