Ajay Pal Lamba

Ajay Pal Lamba (7 August 1978) is an Indian Police Service officer of 2005 batch of Rajasthan cadre. He is currently Inspector-general of police for Jaipur range. He is known for his involvement in the arrest and prosecution of self styled godman Asaram in 2013, he led a team that gathered crucial evidence and ensured Asaram’s conviction.[1][2][3] He was born in Sikar, Rajasthan.[4] He authored a book titled “Gunning For the Godman: The True Story Behind Asaram Bapu’s Conviction,” which details the investigation and legal proceedings of Asaram case.[5][6][7]
