Al-Athrun (Arabic: الأثرون), also known as Lathrun or Lathron (Arabic: لاثرون) is a small coastal town in north eastern Libya, in the Derna district.
It hosts recently excavated Byzantine churches adorned with white-blue marble from Proconnesus.[1]
