Aladar Imre (February 14, 1898 – 1937), was a Romanian trade unionist, communist militant and member-elect of the Romanian Parliament. Under the name Pavel Corneliu (Russian: Павел Владимирович Корнелиу, romanized: Pavel Vladimirovich Korneliu),[1] he was also active as a writer, editor and playwright in the Moldavian Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic, before being executed on accusations of nationalism during the Great Purge.
