The Vilayet of Aleppo[2] (Ottoman Turkish: ولايت حلب, romanizedVilâyet-i Halep;[3] Arabic: ولاية حلب, romanizedWilāyat Ḥalab) was a first-level administrative division (vilayet) of the Ottoman Empire, centered on the city of Aleppo.
