Ankaful is a town in the Central Region of Ghana.^[1] It is under the jurisdiction of the Cape Coast Metropolitan Assembly. The town is known for three things:

• The Ankaful Psychiatric Hospital^[2]
• The Ankaful Maximum Security Prison^[3]
• The Ankaful Leprosy General Hospital ^{[4][5][6][7][8]}
