Anthropophage

An anthropophage [1] or anthropophagus (from Greek: ανθρωποφάγος, romanizedanthrōpophagos, "human-eater", plural Greek: ανθρωποφάγοι, romanizedanthropophagi) was a member of a mythical race of cannibals described by the playwright William Shakespeare. The word first appears in English around 1552.
