Arlett Tovar Gómez[a] (born 9 May 1997),[1] known as Arlett Tovar, is a Mexican professional footballer who plays as a defender[2] for Santos Laguna[3] in the Liga MX Femenil, the first professional women's football (soccer) league in Mexico.[4]
In 2017, she scored two goals (a brace) in the final to help Chivas win the first professional women's soccer championship in the country in front of 32,466 spectators.[5][6][7][2][8] Tovar has represented Mexico on the under-17 and under-20 national teams.
