The 2000 Armageddon was the second Armageddon professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by the World Wrestling Federation (WWF, now WWE). It took place on December 10, 2000, at the Birmingham–Jefferson Civic Center in Birmingham, Alabama. It was the final Armageddon event produced under the WWF name, as the promotion was renamed to World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) in May 2002, as the event was temporarily replaced with Vengeance in December 2001 due to the September 11 attacks, with Armageddon reinstated in 2002. It would also be the last Armageddon held before the introduction of the brand extension in March 2002.
