Ashaiman (often wrongly spelled as "Ashiaman") is a large town and the capital of the Ashaiman Municipal District in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana.[3] According to the 2021 census, the town, along with the district, has a population of 208,060 people.[4] Ethnic groups who resided in Ashaiman are the Ga-Adangbe, Ga, Guan, Hausa, Fante people, Dagomba, Ewe, Ashanti, and Akuapem.[2] The current Omanhene of the town is Nii Annang Adzor.[5]
