Lieutenant General Muhammad Asim Malik HI(M) is a three-star general in the Pakistan Army and is the current Director-General of the ISI. General Malik has taken his charge as DG-ISI on 30 September 2024 succeeding Nadeem Anjum. He is the first PhD holder to be appointed as Director-General of the ISI.[1][2]
