Athadu (transl. Him)[1] is a 2005 Indian Telugu-language action thriller film directed by Trivikram Srinivas and produced by Jayabheri Arts.[2] The film stars Mahesh Babu, alongside Trisha, Sonu Sood, Prakash Raj, Nassar, Sunil, Sayaji Shinde, Kota Srinivasa Rao and Brahmanandam.[3] The music was composed by Mani Sharma, while the cinematography and editing were handled by K. V. Guhan and Sreekar Prasad. It was remade in Bengali in 2010 as Wanted.[4]
Athadu received positive reviews from critics, where it went on to become one of the highest grossing Telugu films of the year. The film received several accolades including three Nandi Awards and a Filmfare Award South for Best Director.
