Aurat (word)

Aurat is a word which means "woman" in many Asian languages including Arabic, Urdu, Persian, Punjabi, and Sorani Kurdish.[1][2][3] It occurs in Azerbaijani as "arvad" and Ottoman Turkish as "avret".[4]
