The Australian Navy Cadets (ANC) is a youth development organisation supported by the Royal Australian Navy, with a focus on the maritime domain. The organisation promotes activities, both on land and the water, with the key objectives of building self-confidence and developing teamwork and leadership skills.[1]
The program, which comprises 81 training ships and about 2,350 cadets nationwide, is available to young Australians of all genders and abilities between the ages of 13 and 18.[1]
Together with the Australian Air Force Cadets and Australian Army Cadets, it forms the Australian Defence Force Cadets.
