B.V.R Subramaniyam ( born 6 September 1961) is a retired 1988-batch Chhattisgarh cadre Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer. He has been Secretary in the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Chief Secretary-Jammu & Kashmir, Principal Secretary-Government of Chhattisgarh, and has held positions in the Prime Minister’s Office. He has previously served in the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) under both Manmohan Singh and Narendra Modi. He has been instrumental in containing insurgency in Chhattisgarh in the 2010s. In February 2023, he has taken charge as 4th CEO of NITI Aayog.[2]
