Badja Medu Djola (born Bernard Bradley; April 9, 1948 – January 8, 2005) was an American actor from Brooklyn, [citation needed] New York who worked primarily within black film.[1][2] He is best known for Mississippi Burning,[1] Penitentiary,[3] A Rage in Harlem,[1] and Who's the Man?.[4]African-American character actor, often seen in tough or villainous roles. Was a former dancer.
