Bahlul Khan Lodi (Persian: بهلول لودی; died 12 July 1489) was the chief of the Afghan Lodi tribe.[1] Founder of the Lodi dynasty from the Delhi Sultanate[2] upon the abdication of the last claimant from the previous Sayyid rule.[3] Bahlul became sultan of the dynasty on 19 April 1451[4] (855 AH).
