Baitul Mukarram (Bengali: বায়তুল মোকাররম; lit. 'The Honored House'), officially Baitul Mukarram National Mosque (Bengali: বায়তুল মোকাররম জাতীয় মসজিদ),[1] is a mosque located at the center of Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. The mosque was completed in 1968.[2][3] It has a capacity of more than 42,000 worshipers.[4]
