Baron Divavesi Waqa (/bæˈrɒn dɪvəveɪˈsiː wɑːˈkɑː/; born 31 December 1959[2]) is a Nauruan politician who currently serves as the secretary-general of the Pacific Islands Forum.[3] He was the President of Nauru from 11 June 2013 until 27 August 2019. He previously served as Minister of Education from 2004 to 2007.
