Barvanan-e Sharqi Rural District (Persian: دهستان بروانان شرقي)[3] is in Sowmaeh District of Torkamanchay County, East Azerbaijan province, Iran.[4] Its capital is the village of Sowmaeh-ye Olya.[5]
