Bastard is the debut mixtape by American rapper Tyler, the Creator.[3] It was self-produced by Tyler, the Creator, and self-released on December 25, 2009.[4][5] Due to its free online release and lack of retail availability, Bastard is commonly considered a mixtape, although Tyler refers to it as his debut studio album.[6] The album was self-released on Odd Future's Tumblr page for free.[7][3]
