The Battle of Argvani was an episode of the Caucasian War. The battle was between the detachment of Separate Caucasian Corps (Russian forces) under the command of Lieutenant General Pavel Grabbe and the detachments of Imam Shamil. It happened on 31 May 1839 in the mountain village of Argvani.
