Battles for Gornje Kolibe is a series of clashes in the municipality of Brod. On August 18, 1992, following the orders of the commander of TG-3, Colonel Slavko Lisica, the members of the 1st Battalion of the Military Police, 1st Krajina Corps managed to take control of the enemy's front lines with heavy losses. Since the neighboring infantry units did not fulfill their part of the task, the commander of the 1st bVP, 1st KK, captain first class Radoslav Lakić decided to return the unit to its initial position.
