Odoru daisosasen – The Movie (踊る大捜査線 THE MOVIE), known internationally as Bayside Shakedown, is a 1998 Japanese crime comedy film. The film was adapted from the 1997 television series Bayside Shakedown.[1]
The film is set in Tokyo. The film initially focuses on the rivalry between two neighboring police precincts over jurisdiction in a new case. A Detective Sergeant is pushing for significant reforms, while his superiors are setting him up to take the fall in case of failure in a high-profile kidnapping case.
