Benjamin D. Bridges Sr. (August 30, 1940 – September 1, 2022)[1] was a former Republican politician and one-time member of the Georgia House of Representatives. Bridges represented Georgia's 9th (1997-2001), then 7th (2001–2003), and then 10th (2003-2009) districts, based about the city of Cleveland, between 1997 and 2009.[1] He was chairman of the House Retirement Committee and was replaced as the 10th district's representative by fellow Republican Rick Austin in 2008.
