Black Socialists in America[a] (BSA) is an American political group that organizes among predominantly poor and working-class Black Americans and whose stated goal is to create a national platform and network for those who identify as Black American Socialists.[4]
Since its foundation, the group has worked on grassroots initiatives with organizations across the country,[5][6] received national media coverage,[7] and an endorsement from Noam Chomsky.[8]
The group has also hosted a number of public panels and online discussions featuring Black organizers from both the civil rights and Black power eras such as Jamal Joseph[9] and Lorenzo Kom'boa Ervin,[10] as well as political organizations like Kongreya Star.[11]
