Brewster Lurton Kahle (/keɪl/ KAYL;[4] born October 21, 1960)[2] is an American digital librarian,[5] computer engineer, Internet entrepreneur, and advocate of universal access to all knowledge. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science and engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1982. Kahle founded the Internet Archive and co-founded Alexa Internet in 1996. He was inducted into the Internet Hall of Fame in 2012.[4]
