Brother is an upcoming Tamil-language romantic comedy film written and directed by M. Rajesh. It is produced by Sun Pictures. The film stars Jayam Ravi and Priyanka Arul Mohan in the lead roles.
The film was officially announced in August 2022 under the tentative title JR 30,and the official title was announced in September 2023. Principal photography commenced in August 2022 and was predominantly shot in Chennai. The film has music composed by Harris Jayaraj, cinematography handled by Praveen Wimaleswaran and editing by Abisish Joseph.
Brother is scheduled to release worldwide in theatres on 31 October 2024, coinciding with Diwali.[2]
