Budd Root (born 1958) is an American cartoonist, and creator of the independent comic book Cavewoman, published by Root's company Basement Comics / Amryl Entertainment. Root is one of the premiere contemporary "good girl" artists,[1] with an art style similar to Art Adams.'[2]
