Caspar Peucer (/ˈpɔɪkər/ POY-kər,[citation needed] German: [ˈkaspaʁ ˈpɔʏtsɐ];[1] January 6, 1525 – September 25, 1602) was a German reformer, physician, and scholar of Sorbian origin.
