- "itinerant" groups (sometimes described as "nomadic" in a loose sense of the word)
- traditionally itinerant groups (romani, "indigenous travellers", etc.)
- neo-itinerant groups or individuals (migrant workers, "perpetual tourists" or "snowbirds", globetrotters, New Age travellers, digital nomads etc.)
