Catherine Mary Russell (born March 4, 1961) is an American attorney and political adviser who is the executive director of UNICEF as of 2022[update].[1] Russell previously served as Director of the White House Presidential Personnel Office, United States Ambassador-at-Large for Global Women's Issues, and Chief of Staff to then-Second Lady of the United States Jill Biden.[2]
