Chen Shutong (1876 – 17 February 1966) was a Chinese politician, scholar and administrator who served in the governments of the Qing Dynasty, the Republic of China and the People's Republic of China.[1] He belonged to a very small group of imperial Mandarins that survived and prospered under the Communist government of Mao Zedong.
