The Chimariko (Chimariko language: cʼʸˈimar, tʼʸimar, čimar, čʼimar or ǯimar - ″person / Indian″) are an Indigenous people of California, who originally lived in a narrow, 20-mile section of canyon on the Trinity River in Trinity County in northwestern California.[3]
