Chittabrata Majumdar (14 August 1935[1] – 20 February 2007) was an Indian politician. He was general secretary of Centre of Indian Trade Unions (CITU), the trade union wing of CPI(M) from 2003 till his death. He was a member of the Politburo, or executive committee, of the party.[2] Upon his death, his body was donated to a hospital.[3]
