Chocowinity (/ˌtʃɒkəˈwɪnəti/ chok-ə-WIN-ə-tee)[4] is a town in Beaufort County, North Carolina, United States. The population was 820 at the 2010 Census. The town is a part of the Washington Area located in North Carolina's Coastal Plains region.
